Experience: Before opening JumpStart, Dan was previously employed as a staff physical therapist at The Children's Hospital in Boston, where he worked with a pediatric and adult population. During that time period he was one of the physical therapists for the professional dancers at The Boston Ballet. He has worked with patients of all abilities from birth to adult. He is a lacrosse player who served as a part time boy's varsity assistant lacrosse coach at Acton Boxboro Regional High School for seven years and coached youth lacrosse in Framingham. Dan is currently a youth hockey and lacrosse coach in Hopkinton. Dan has made several television appearances, lectured to his colleagues, physicians, coaches, and athletic trainers on Core stability, ACL injury prevention, transitioning the patient/athlete from rehabilitation to sport, plyometrics, pediatric physical therapy, and functional training. Dan has been a speaker at the national physical therapy conference, American Physical Therapy Association state chapter meetings, state annual conference, and co-authored Sculpting the Complete Athlete for the New Millennium an internet course for physical therapists, strength coaches, athletic trainers, and coaches. Dan has a special interest in treating shoulders and is a member of the Massachusetts American Physical Therapy Association Special Interest Group on Shoulders.
Dr. Jennifer Connors

Dr. Jennifer Connors has been a physical therapist since 1995. She was initially employed at Children's Hospital, Boston where she gained experience in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Additionally, while employed at Children's, Jennifer had the opportunity to work in the NICU, Cerebral Palsy Clinic, Myelodysplasia Clinic, and Adolescent and Young Adult Hip Unit. Jennifer joined JumpStart in 2004 where she has continued to work with a wide range of patients. She has developed a special interest in the treatment of hip pathologies including hip dysplasia and femoral acetabular impingement as well as pediatric diagnoses. Other experience includes early intervention and home care services. She is currently the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education at Jump Start.
In 2002, she became a Pediatric Clinical Specialist and is certified through the American Physical Therapy Association. In additional to clinical experience, Jennifer has lectured on many topics including: Cerebral Palsy, and Spina Bifida both at MGH Institute of Health Professions and Simmons College; injury prevention to local communities; and at the National Physical Therapy Conference in 2002 on Pre and Post Periacetabular Osteotomy.
In September 2010, she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Experience: Before starting with JumpStart, Ryan was previously employed as a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director for a private outpatient orthopedic company in West Palm Beach Florida. He spent over 2 years working with a variety of diagnoses including many sports injuries and post-operative cases. Ryan also has clinical experience working in Gainesville, Florida and Mineola, New York at facilities specializing in general orthopedics. He plans to become a board certified orthopedic and sport specialist through the APTA as he has a special interest in working with sports-related injuries and training higher level athletes.
Dr. Meghan Young DPT
Meg graduated from MGH Institute of Health Professions and received her doctoral degree in 2014. She earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology at Fairfield University in 2011. She spent the majority of her youth swimming competitively and was a member of Fairfield's swimming and diving team. In her free time she enjoys cheering for Boston sports teams, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Jennifer Pflug PT, DPT
Jenn received her Doctorate degree from Northeastern University in 2014, where she was a member of the women's swimming & diving team. She began her career as a physical therapist at Perkins School for the Blind, where she worked with children with multiple disabilities and visual impairments. Jenn has run the Boston Marathon twice for a charity team, and in her free time, Jenn enjoys being active, yoga, and baking.
Dr. Erin Higgins DPT
Erin graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and received her Doctoral Degree in January 2013. She earned her Bachelor's degree from St. Anselm College in 2010, where she was a member of the women's basketball team. In her free time, Erin enjoys running, playing basketball, and watching Boston sports teams.
Dr. Brittany Zelesky DPT
Brittany graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions 2012. She began her career as an intern and her love of pediatrics, sports, and orthopedics led her to stay on as a full time physical therapist at JumpStart. She is a former cheerleader and gymnast, and current amateur boxer, who is passionate about rehabilitating these patients to their optimal skill level.
Dr. Douglas Murray "DJ" PT, DPT
“DJ” first joined the JumpStart family as a co-op while attending Northeastern University in 2011. He joined on as a staff physical therapist in 2013 upon receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy. "DJ" is a south shore native who spent a majority of his high school days playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. He is an avid Boston sports enthusiast who enjoys spending his time playing soccer, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Professionally he has a keen interest in manual therapy and post operative return to sport rehabilitation.
Liana Litsky DPT
Before moving to Boston she earned her Bachelor's degrees in International Diplomacy and Spanish at The Ohio State University. She was a competitive synchronized swimmer for over 14 years and went on to win three National Championships with the Ohio State Buckeyes. She is a devout foodie and enjoys cooking, with dreams to open her own bakery. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, watching all the Best Picture nominated movies, and college football.
Dr. Janey Ades DPT
Janey received her Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 2013 and graduated with her Doctoral degree from Quinnipiac University in 2016. She is excited to pursue her interests in pediatrics, amputees, dance and sports to help patients of all ages and various diagnoses achieve their goals. In her free time you can find Janey at a workout class, spending time with family and friends or volunteering at Camp No Limits.
Bauer Connors, BT (Boston Terrier)
Bauer has been part of the JumpStart Team since 2013. He is a skilled clinician specializing in bones. His hobbies include chasing squirrels, running, jumping, chewing, and going on long walks. He is an avid Boston sports fan who loves home cooked meals.
Physical Therapy Rehab Aide
Kenji is a graduate from the UMass Lowell exercise physiology program. He is currently applying to DPT schools with aspirations to become a licensed physical therapist. Kenji enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee.
Sarah Morehouse MGH DPT
Sarah began her internship September 2016 and became a licensed physical therapist January 2017. Prior to moving to Boston for graduate school, she received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from the College of William & Mary in Virginia where she was a also a member of the field hockey team. In addition to working with patients, she enjoys being outdoors, testing out new recipes and volunteering with adaptive sports programs including rock climbing and alpine skiing.
Michael Hardy MGH DPT
Michael began his internship September 2016 and became a licensed physical therapist January 2017. Originally from Ashland, MA, he enjoys playing and watching all sports, but he is especially hooked on soccer. He also has a passion for science fiction (novels and movies). Michael hopes to continue to develop his skills working with athletes of all ages as they return to sport.

Kristin Allbright Northeastern PT Co-op
Kristin is a Northeastern University Co-op student. Prior to beginning her graduate program in physical therapy, she earned her Bachelor's degree in International Studies at Boston College. Kristin also worked for two years at a school for children with physical and cognitive disabilities, which is where she found her love for pediatrics. Kristin continues to work as a Personal Care Assistant and is concentrating in Early Intervention at Northeastern. She is on track to graduate with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. In her free time, Kristin enjoys being outdoors, playing with her dog Benji, and cheering for any and all Philadelphia sports teams.
